About Me

I was born and raised in the Portland, Oregon, area. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology at the University of Oregon. I went on to earn a master's degree from the Oregon Health and Science University's Physician Assistant Program. I decided to become a physician assistant because I like the flexibility the profession offers within the medical field. It is rewarding to be part of this exciting field and help shape the profession as it grows.

About my practice

I am passionate about evidence-based medicine and strive to stay up-to-date on the latest medical literature and research. I believe doing this helps me provide the best information possible to my patients and their families. My particular interest is in sports medicine, especially in the areas of nutrition, disease prevention, and sports injuries. That being said, I work in urgent care for a reason: I enjoy the challenges of serving a diverse population, and I am honored that patients entrust their health to me and my great team of colleagues. I enjoy tackling the many issues that come up everyday. I like never knowing who will walk through the door each day and I am always excited by the opportunity to address new problems and challenges. I love to learn and most days I feel like I learn just as much from my patients as they learn from me.

How I thrive

I enjoy playing and following nearly every sport. I spend most of my free time being active. I love the local food scene and like trying new restaurants and spending time with my girlfriend and family. I also enjoy running, hiking, reading, lifting weights, tennis, golf, and traveling.
