About Me

I'm pleased to have this Web page as a way providing information about my practice and me. I am proud to be a Kaiser Permanente physician, and I hope that we can always provide high-quality care and service to you.

Biography

I was born in South Korea and came to the United States with my parents and siblings when I was 10. I lived in Maryland, graduated from the University of Maryland, and came to California to attend Loma Linda University Medical School. I was always interested in health. I grew up reading health magazines and eating lots of fruits and veggies. I became a vegetarian at age 15.

About my practice

I work at several nursing facilities in the Redlands area. I care for patients who need skilled care such as physical therapy, tube feedings, intravenous feedings, intravenous medications, and who have wounds or brain injuries. I also care for post-surgical orthopedic patients and senior patients who are frail and/or suffering from dementia, and I treat hospice and palliative care patients.

How I thrive

I believe a healthy diet and lifestyle can help prevent many diseases, including heart disease, stroke, cancer, high blood pressure, depression, and arthritis. I’m very interested in anti-aging research and try to read up on any information related to the subject. I also run on the treadmill three to six times a week. I believe spirituality is very important for health. I am a Christian, and my faith is an important part of my life.
