About Me

I was raised in a rural town in Kansas. After spending the early part of my life in the Midwest, I was fortunate to do my residency at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. I fell in love with all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, from the ocean to the mountains and everything in between. The decision to become a doctor goes back to early childhood. Becoming an orthopedic surgeon was an easy decision in medical school as I enjoy working with my hands and fixing things.

About my practice

I am an orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty focus in foot and ankle surgery. Foot and ankle surgery is especially interesting, as I have the opportunity to perform a wide range of procedures to help patients. I perform total ankle replacements, ankle arthroscopy, deformity reconstruction, and arthritis surgery, and fix broken bones.

How I thrive

I enjoy a well-balanced life. It all starts with my family and extends from there. I stay as active as possible outside with my wife and two children, fishing, camping, and hiking.
