About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself and tell you about my work as a physician and physician administrator at Kaiser Permanente.

Biography

I am a native Southern Californian. I knew I wanted to be able to make a real difference in peoples' lives, and practicing medicine and working as an administrator in health care gives me that opportunity. I am a family medicine physician and have practiced at the Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park Medical Center since 1994. In 2005, I transitioned into my administrative role as the assistant medical director for Baldwin Park Medical Center.

About my practice

I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy. I lead the Staying Healthy efforts at Baldwin Park Medical Center, which include programs where we call and send letters to members to remind them about important tests and exams that they need to stay healthy.

How I thrive

Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. I volunteer each summer at a camp for children with asthma and tutor kids in the Los Angeles Unified School District. I enjoy walks with my family. I also make it a priority to set aside time to just relax and visit with friends.
