About Me

Welcome to the Department of Dermatology at Kaiser Permanente! I hope this site is helpful to you in getting to know me.

Biography

I grew up in Montreal, Canada, where I attended McGill University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in human physiology. I then moved to New York City for medical school, where I attended Columbia University, became interested in dermatology and completed a one-year research fellowship in a lab studying melanoma genetics. I then began my journey west by moving to Chicago for a dermatology residency at Northwestern University. I stayed on following graduation as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology before relocating to Los Angeles to join Kaiser Permanente as a board-certified dermatologist.

About my practice

I love the field of dermatology because I get to interact with members of all ages and backgrounds. I enjoy treating a wide range of skin conditions, from inflammatory skin diseases (such as eczema, psoriasis, and acne) to skin cancer. I work closely with members to find treatment options that fit their lifestyles, and I am always working to stay ahead of the latest research in skin disease.

How I thrive

When I’m not at work, I love spending time with friends and family. My hobbies include trying new restaurants around the Los Angeles area and traveling to distant locations. I have actually been to all 7 continents!
