About Me

Originally from New England, I spent 10 years in New York City during my medical training—in stark contrast to the years I spent training and competing as a member of the U.S. Short Track Speed Skating national team. Interested in reconnecting with the outdoors and exploring a new part of the country, my husband and I are excited about living in the beautiful Northwest with our young daughter.

About my practice

I’m thrilled to be part of the Kaiser Permanente team, providing high-quality care to patients in the Pacific Northwest. As a hand surgeon, I treat conditions affecting the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow in both adult and pediatric patient populations. My practice involves a variety of procedures, from fixing fractures to releasing the delicate tissue around compressed nerves.

How I thrive

As I write, my daughter is sitting on her dad’s lap, grinning ear to ear. Seeing her reminds me of how grateful I am to have a job I love and a wonderfully supportive family. When not watching football (or, as my British husband calls it, American football),  we are out exploring our neighborhood and city and enjoying home-cooked meals.
