About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am a psychiatrist for children, adolescents, and adults, and I am also trained in family therapy.

Biography

I was born and raised in St. Louis. My father is a cardiologist, and because of him, medicine was something I always wanted to do. I see my job as helping people help themselves.

About my practice

I have been with Kaiser Permanente for 32 years and was the assistant chief of psychiatry for 12 years. I have enjoyed watching kids I have treated grow up into happy, healthy adults. I have a special interest in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. My philosophy is that quality care results from teamwork between physician and patient.

How I thrive

I enjoy spending time with my six grandchildren. I have been involved in the martial arts for almost 40 years and have a black belt in judo. I enjoy working with medical information systems and have published articles on computers and psychiatry.
