I grew up in the Denver area. I am married and have two daughters and one old mutt. I became a physician because I love science, especially biology and physiology, and wanted to have a rewarding career serving others. I enjoy hospital medicine because I love taking care of patients when they are very sick and watching them improve. It is a very humbling experience to be allowed into the private life of a patient I just met when they are at their most vulnerable.
As a hospital medicine provider, I work with all team members inside the hospital. I primarily work overnight and rely on nurses, pharmacists, resident physicians and many others to help me manage any issues that come up when most of the city is sleeping. I strive to be a partner in your health care and to give you all the information you need to make an informed decision about the best options for you.
I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, biking, practicing yoga, cooking, reading and listening to podcasts. I especially like political and historical podcasts and podcasts that tell in-depth stories about people's lives.
