About Me

I am a Midwestern boy. I was raised in Stillwater, Minnesota, played hockey and football throughout school and went to St. Olaf College where I met my wife. After college, I joined the Army and proudly served throughout my time at the University of Minnesota Medical School, during residency at Madigan Army Medical Center at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, and in active duty in the internal medicine clinic at Evans Army Community Hospital and the 10th Medical Group at the United States Air Force Academy. Although I enjoyed my military career, I am excited to transition into civilian medicine and to make Colorado Springs a permanent home for our three children

About my practice

I became a primary care physician because I value fostering patient-physician relationships in order to put the patient first. I value my patient’s input and want to be a partner in your care as we work together to improve your functionality. I will also work to educate and mentor you on your conditions and treatment plans. I pride myself on taking the time to listen to my patients and use an evidence-based, multimodal approach to improve your functionality and quality of life. I enjoy working with military veterans and understand the unique challenges this population faces.

How I thrive

I thrive at home with my wife and three wonderful children. As a family, we enjoy climbing, hiking, skiing, swimming and traveling. In my rare spare time, I enjoy woodworking and playing a variety of sports.
