About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I welcome this opportunity to introduce myself to you and tell you about my role as a Kaiser Permanente rheumatologist.

Biography

I was born in India and grew up in the United States. I was inspired to pursue a career in medicine by my father, who is also a physician. I attended medical school in India and completed all of my postgraduate training in Philadelphia. My family and I relocated to California so that my children could be closer to their grandparents.

About my practice

As a rheumatologist, I manage a wide variety of autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, polymyalgia rheumatica, osteoarthritis, and gout, to name a few. Most of these diseases are chronic, so I feel that it is very important for us to work together as a team to best manage them.

How I thrive

Maintaining a balance between work and home ensures that I am able to do my best for my patients. I manage my stress and stay healthy by exercising on a regular basis. I love to travel, cook, and spend time with my family and friends.
