At the age of eight I knew that I wanted to become a physician. My initial interest was influenced by my pediatrician. As I grew older, I realized that I appreciate helping others. Once I began to study medicine, I chose the field of emergency medicine because I enjoy managing critical and acute health problems. I like to help our members understand their bodies and how to better their health.
I work in the Advanced Care Center with other emergency medicine physicians, family practitioners, physician assistants and a large group of well-trained and experienced nurses. We work as a team to help patients with acute medical problems, critical conditions and urgent matters. I like to think that I can learn new things from my patients, just as I hope to teach them new information about their health as well.
Balancing family, work and personal time helps me thrive. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. Since we are new to Atlanta, we enjoy venturing out and experiencing new restaurants and attractions. The people here have been so genuine and welcoming, and it makes us happy to call Atlanta our new home.
