About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am glad to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you and share with you some information about my interests, training, and practice here at Kaiser Permanente.

I was born and raised in East Los Angeles, California. I attended Garfield High School and then continued my education at UC Irvine where I studied biology. I attended medical school at USC and received my surgical training at both LAC+USC Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. I completed a surgical fellowship in hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery at St. Vincent Medical Center in Los Angeles, where I received specialty training in the surgery of the liver, pancreas, duodenum, and biliary system.

About my practice

As a heptobiliary and general surgeon my practice is quite diverse ranging from surgery for benign and malignant conditions.

How I thrive

My wife and I are both physicians at Kaiser Permanente, and we enjoy the balance we have here with our professional and personal lives. We have a beautiful daughter that keeps us very active and motivates us to continue to thrive.
