About Me

After residency in Colorado, my husband and I moved back to Atlanta. I am a native Georgian, and it is a true pleasure to serve the Kaiser Permanente members of Georgia. I have wanted to be a physician for as long as I can remember. My husband and I have two dogs and a son. I am now living in a dream world where I get to be both a physician and a mother, and I could not be more grateful.

About my practice

My training as a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician prepared me to provide excellent care for patients with musculoskeletal and pain complaints with the primary goal to improve daily functioning and quality of life. In my role, I look at the patient as a whole person and evaluate the physical and emotional components that contribute to pain. The Kaiser Permanente Pain Management Department strives to provide high-quality, evidence-based care for our members and we are in close communication with primary care providers and our surgical colleagues to achieve this goal.

How I thrive

In my free time, I love to be physically active and take care of my body. I am an avid runner and marathoner, and this has been a great outlet for stress management for me. I also enjoy skiing, swimming, dancing, hiking and playing soccer, but I will pretty much agree to play any sport if asked to participate. I love to sing, but no one else appreciates when I do. I enjoy traveling to new places and experiencing natural beauty in the world. We continue to be Georgia football fans. I love spending time with my family and my husband's family, who also live in Atlanta. I believe you walk through life much easier with a smile on your face.
