About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and patients, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health.

Biography

Being a third generation physician, I cannot deny the family influence as a factor that drew me to the practice of medicine. It was the allure of scientific discovery that I fell in love with the study of blood earlier in my career. I continue to find the amazing resilience of human spirit in every cancer patients I am fortunate enough to care for.

About my practice

I spend about half of my time in clinical research. I also teach at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center regularly. My main focus, however, is patient care in the oncology clinic at Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Medical Center.

How I thrive

I firmly believe in the philosophy of total health and try to live it in my life every day. My family life is my major priority. I enjoy family outings to parks nearby. I am an avid tennis player. Meditation and spending quiet time with family help me to thrive.
