About Me

I am originally from Boulder, Colorado, and am very happy to be practicing here in Denver! Living in this great city allows me to be near family and friends, but also allows me to get up to the mountains and play. I enjoy all things outdoors including snowboarding, mountain biking, camping, hiking, photography, wakeboarding and paddleboarding. Watching people learn and grow with the assistance of my medical care is very fulfilling to me and is one of the main reasons I became a physician. I look forward to meeting and serving my patients!

About my practice

I am a family physician by training, however I invested time to get additional training in sports medicine. Sports medicine encompasses the musculoskeletal and medical care of all active people, from professional athletes to weekend warriors to people like my grandmother who like to garden. I treat both acute and chronic issues for patients of all ages. Injuries happen to the best of us all the time, and I love helping people get back to what they enjoy doing. I view myself as a teacher and resource to my patients. Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan that works for your personal lifestyle and goals. I will help you to make informed decisions and I respect the decisions you make regarding your care. I am trained to utilize in-office musculoskeletal ultrasound for both diagnostic and therapeutic use.

How I thrive

I believe it is very important that your work be something about which you are passionate. I am lucky to be in the position I am, because in so many ways work is fun for me. I am a strong believer that health centers around several themes. These include adequate sleep, healthy diet, regular exercise, and daily stress relievers.
