Hi, everyone! I’m Dr. Arvand Elihu. I’m a general surgeon practicing at Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills Medical Center.
I was raised in sunny Southern California and consider myself to be a Los Angeles native. Being a physician allows me to make an honest living by helping people live longer and healthier lives. Working at Woodland Hills Medical Center gives me the opportunity to care for members and, at the same time, live close to family and friends. I obtained my medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and completed my general surgery training at Loma Linda University. I went on to a multiorgan abdominal transplant fellowship at Stanford University. I'm board-certified in general surgery. I joined the Kaiser Permanente community because I believe in their commitment to member care and physician well-being.
Our team works to resolve and alleviate medical illnesses requiring surgical intervention. We also help in counseling you to help determine if surgery is the best option for you. We help balance the risks and benefits of surgery for each individual member.
I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle by eating well, exercising frequently, and spending time with family and friends. I believe in kindness, empathy, and respect.
