About Me

I am the eldest of four and was raised in the Caribbean. My parents were both educators and instilled in me the value of hard work and service to others. I taught high school math and science briefly before attending medical school at St. George's University in Grenada. I completed my residency in internal medicine and pediatrics in New York City. I then relocated to the southeastern United States, where I have been practicing medicine since 2004.

About my practice

After six years as a primary care physician, I transitioned to hospital medicine and currently serve as an adult hospitalist. I believe that great doctors are empathetic and take time to listen closely and understand the concerns of patients and their families. My goal is to adhere to those standards every day that I am given the opportunity to serve you.

How I thrive

When I am not practicing medicine, I spend most of my time with my family, including two young daughters who keep me both busy and entertained. I love musical theater, especially Broadway, and I enjoy traveling, scrapbooking and socializing with friends and family.
