About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am very happy and excited to have the opportunity to share my professional credentials as well as my personal information with you.

Biography

I am a board certified internal medicine physician and completed my residency at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara Medical Center and Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. I was born in Bangladesh. After completing medical school, I went to Sweden to continue doing medical research, and while there, I completed Ph.D. in cardiovascular medicine from the Karolinska Institute. I moved to the United States in 2001. I am happily married and blessed with two wonderful children.

About my practice

I practice as a hospitalist, meaning that I only treat members who have been admitted to the hospital. I do not see members at our medical offices. I work closely with a team of subspecialists, nurses, and pharmacists, and together we strive to provide high-quality care and make your hospital stay as pleasant as possible.

How I thrive

I enjoy spending time with my family and try to achieve a balance with work. I maintain my health through exercise and playing sports such as tennis. I also spend a significant amount of my leisure time on my hobbies, which include photography (nature and color are my favorite subjects), gardening, and cars. I am also a karaoke singer, and I love trying different foods.
