Welcome to my Web page. I'd like to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. I enjoy working at Kaiser Permanente and look forward to working with you to care for your health.
I grew up in New York and moved to California as a Teach for America corps member. I attended medical school at UC Irvine. Having a child with special needs has enabled me to gain greater insight about being on the receiving end of health care.
My practice is defined by engaging members and empowering them to make positive decisions that impact their health.
Maintaining a balance between my career, my nonprofit work as Chairman of Cure CMD (Congenital Muscular Dystrophy), and family can be incredibly challenging. I have found that prioritizing a couple of minutes daily to self-reflect and slow down assists in maintaining that balance. Weekly exercise and eating right complement this approach.
