Welcome to my Web page! I am happy to have the opportunity to introduce myself.
I am a Los Angeles native. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychobiology and Chicana/o studies from UCLA and medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. After time in the Windy City, I returned to Southern California to complete my residency at White Memorial Medical Center and be close to my family. My interest in medicine began as a child and grew with my experiences volunteering, in mentorship programs, and in premedical organizations. I became a physician to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
As a family medicine physician, I have the opportunity to care for every member of a family. I believe helping patients get well when they are ill is as important as keeping them healthy. By partnering with my patients, I hope to help them reach and maintain their optimal overall health.
Maintaining balance in life is important to me. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, dancing, and traveling.
