About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I really enjoy working at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and members, and I look forward to working with you to care for your whole self.

I was born in Illinois and moved out to Southern California to play volleyball at UCLA. I enjoyed the weather, met my husband, and decided to make California my permanent home. I attended college and medical school at UCLA. I then did my residency at UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica. I decided to become a doctor because medicine and science fascinate me and I enjoy helping people. Family medicine was an obvious choice for me because I like interacting with people of all ages.

About my practice

My philosophy is to stress preventive care. I’m a big believer in a healthy diet and plenty of exercise. I believe emotional, spiritual, and mental health all play a role in your physical health. I strive to make sure my members are making time in their busy lives for themselves. When you take charge of your own health—with me as your partner and input and guidance from my team—you’ll be taking important steps to contributing to your own well-being.

How I thrive

I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente’s philosophy of keeping a balance in one’s life, as well as eating healthy and being physically active on a regular basis. I enjoy hanging out with my family, reading, running, and lifting weights.
