About Me

I'm very happy to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you, because I think it's important for you to feel comfortable with your choice of a physician. I have been working at Kaiser Permanente for nearly 17 years, and feel very fortunate to be employed here.

Biography

I have been very impressed with the quality of care Kaiser Permanente provides for its patients. The team effort here is remarkable. I was born at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center and expect everything to go full circle, because I intend to work at Kaiser Permanente until I retire. Although I'm back in Los Angeles/Glendale, I had the wonderful opportunity of meeting and treating all kinds of people, as I was a Naval officer/family practitioner for more than eight years in various places throughout the world. During and after my Navy career, I provided volunteer medical care for homeless veterans, and at Kaiser Permanente helped to precept nursing students from UCLA. I have a wonderful daughter, whom I hope to raise with the Kaiser Permanente philosophy of healthy lifestyle and preventive care. I have been a very conscientious physician, and care deeply about my patients' concerns, fears, and health.

About my practice

As an osteopath, I have been very respectful of patients' alternative treatment considerations, have enjoyed treating my patients with a very holistic philosophy, and, not uncommonly, with osteopathic manipulation.

How I thrive

I try my best to stay well by exercising, improving my dietary habits, and trying hard to not sweat the small stuff. I enjoy photography, singing, and brisk walks.
