I was born and raised in Oregon. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Linfield College School of Nursing in McMinnville, Oregon in 1992. I was accepted into a nurse internship at Legacy Good Samaritan and following a short time in the cardiac unit continued in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Emanuel hospital. While on staff at the children's hospital I helped develop the bereavement committee and sat on the ethics committee. After five years I moved to the Post Anesthesia Care Unit where I cared for a wide range of patients and their families. I completed my Master's degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Washington. I am married with two beautiful children and a yellow lab. I decided to join the Kaiser Permanente team in order to thrive both personally and professionally.
Following positions with Housecall Providers and Summit Orthopedics, I proudly joined Kaiser Permanente in 2013. I have been given tremendous opportunities to expand my knowledge in Orthopedics with Dr. James Jackman treating our acute traumatic fractures and trauma repatriations. I believe in a holistic approach when caring for patients and their families.
My spare time is centered around children and their hobbies. As a family we enjoy boating, camping and vacationing. I enjoy leading a physically active lifestyle.
