Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about myself. I feel very fortunate to be a part of Kaiser Permanente because of its history of providing comprehensive health care with an emphasis on disease prevention and healthy living. I look forward to working with you to care for your health.
After graduating from Cornell Medical School and then finishing my training in Manhattan at St. Vincent’s Hospital, I set out to the West Coast with my family. My goal was to give back to society by working in an underserved area of the United States. Through the National Health Service Corps, I sought to provide health care to those who had the greatest need, just as my father had worked in the villages of rural India. For three years, I worked at a community clinic in rural Ramona, South Dakota. When it was time for me to move on, I naturally was attracted to Kaiser Permanente because of its history of providing comprehensive health care, but also due to its innovations in providing health care.
I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but I am also here to help you when you are sick. I want to be your partner in health and to assist you as you travel through life’s many challenges so that you can enjoy life’s wonders.
Although I devote myself to my patients, I also realize that I cannot care for them if I don’t care for myself as well. I enjoy spending time with my family, and I try to stay fit and active by playing tennis and going to the gym regularly.
