About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you.

Biography

I was born in Cuba. I came to the United States with my parents and two sisters when I was 19 years old. I did my undergraduate studies at Pacific Union College in Napa County, California. My medical school studies were at Loma Linda University. From there, I had a one-year internship at White Memorial Medical Center in East Los Angeles. Since then, my interest in emergency medicine has taken me to Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Oregon, and back to Southern California. I have been working in the Emergency Department Fontana Medical Center for over five years.

About my practice

I believe that healthy living and preventive care is the best way to stay healthy, but I am in the Emergency Department anytime you are in need of immediate emergency care.

How I thrive

Keeping balance in life is important to me. I consistently keep up with physical exercise. I run with the Lopers, a running group in Loma Linda. I go to the gym on a regular basis. I believe that eating healthy foods is a good way to stay well. My diet is full of fruits and fresh vegetables. I also believe that keeping my mind on positive thinking is very important. I am very thankful for God's blessings in my life.
