About Me

I have been married for almost 30 years and have 4 grown children and 1 grandchild. I began my work in health care as an orderly, then served as a respiratory therapist, and for the last 25 years or so have worked as a physician’s assistant. I spend a lot of my free time as a volunteer, advocating for the homeless and hungry of Washington County. I led a medical mission trip to Gashora, Rwanda, in 2016 and plan to return to that country again.

About my practice

I appreciate working at Kaiser Permanente for many reasons, one being our ability to coordinate care across multiple providers. I enjoy my role as a cross-covering provider, working with members who have minor injuries, acute illnesses, and minor trauma.

How I thrive

I thrive by spending time with my spouse and children, gardening, golfing, hiking, and doing handyman repair work. I keep my mind active and engaged by setting goals each year and each 5 years to learn a skill or master something new.
