About Me

I am originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, where I completed my medical training. I spent the next ten years in academic medicine at the University of Utah before relocating to Portland, Oregon in 2013.

About my practice

As a medical geneticist, I realize that in many cases I may not be able to determine the cause for a complex problem or provide a solution, and this has humbled me. Sometimes the most important thing I do is listen, reflect and help our members better understand their often challenging presentations. I have learned much by being a patient and earnestly try to be of value to our members.

How I thrive

I always enjoy playing sports, currently softball, tennis and kayaking. I love my family, including my dog and more great friends than a person deserves. I like listening to and playing music - especially if I can sing along.
