About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente with interesting colleagues and a strong support staff, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health.

Biography

I grew up in Irvington, New York (named after the author of the "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow", Washington Irving) and attended high school in the Bronx, New York. After completing my undergraduate degree at MIT, I went on to medical school in Ohio. I then completed my internship in Akron, Ohio, and went back to New York for a residency in diagnostic radiology at Winthrop University Hospital on Long Island. I then went on to complete a highly competitive abdominal imaging fellowship at UC San Francisco Medical Center, and am now comfortably settled here at Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles Medical Center.

About my practice

Our team here in West Los Angeles includes physicians, nurses, and other professionals who provide compassionate care. In the Department of Radiology, we strive to perform imaging studies and render our interpretations in a helpful and timely manner. We want to work together with you and your primary care physicians to address your specific health needs and concerns.

How I thrive

Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. In my spare time I have many hobbies ranging from glassblowing and tinkering and maintaining my car, to playing video games, cooking, and fishing. I have also recently started to build high-end custom light sabers. I am very happy with Southern California living and find Los Angeles to be a dynamic and fun city to live in. I enjoy experiencing different culinary adventures with my wife, although most nights I am now in my second job: changing diapers for our newborn daughter.
