About Me

I was born and raised in sunny Los Angeles, Calif. Being the son of a podiatrist, I was exposed to podiatric medicine and surgery at a young age and was able to see the impact compassionate podiatric care had on patients' lives. I was fortunate to attend the University of California, Berkeley, where I studied twentieth-century American literature in addition to my science curriculum. During that time, I cultivated a love for literature. However, I could not escape my desire to help people through medicine, and the practice of podiatry was a perfect fit. I understand first-hand how debilitating foot and ankle pain can be and want to be able to alleviate the pain for our members. I am extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to do my fellowship training at Kaiser Permanente in Atlanta and equally fortunate to have stayed on at Kaiser Permanente as a foot and ankle surgeon.

About my practice

I am trained in foot and ankle forefoot and rearfoot surgery and did advanced fellowship training in trauma and reconstruction. Additionally, I have advanced training in minimally invasive ankle arthroscopic procedures. While I treat all medical and surgical conditions of the foot and ankle, I have a particular interest in the medical and surgical treatment of traumatic injuries to the foot and ankle. My philosophy is to treat our members the way I would treat my own family. My goal is to truly get to know my patients and provide care in a compassionate and empathetic environment. I understand first-hand the limitations and pain that results from foot and ankle injuries and surgery, and I strive to help our members through the surgical and post-operative process with as much ease as possible while on the road to recovery.

How I thrive

My wife and I have come to truly love Atlanta and we continue to explore all that the South has to offer. We love traveling to new places and we travel as much as possible. We love going to the beach, swimming in the ocean and decompressing in the warm sun. I am an avid movie-goer and see anything and everything. I am a bit of a foodie and my wife and I really enjoy exploring all the culinary adventures that Atlanta has to offer.
