About Me

Hello! Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician and as a physician administrator at Kaiser Permanente. I am an Ob/Gyn physician and have been with Kaiser Permanente, Los Angeles since 2004. In 2010, I transitioned into my administrative role as the assistant chief of obstetrics and gynecology and medical director of labor and delivery. I feel fortunate to be able to work at Kaiser Permanente as a clinician, as well as an administrator who is working to make our organization the best health care delivery system in the country. I look forward to meeting you.

Biography

For as long as I can remember, I have walked through the halls of Kaiser Permanente, Los Angeles Medical Center. I was born in this hospital and feel honored to assist in the birth of so many new Kaiser Permanente members. My interest in medicine developed over the course of my academic career and as the first member in my family born in the United States. I quickly realized the importance of helping others navigate the medical systems and doing so in a language other than English. I feel proud to be able to give back to the community in any way possible.

About my practice

My practice has definitely evolved over the years and I have developed various interests within the field of OBGYN.  I am always actively working to improve and perfect my skills in laparoscopy.  I believe this allows my patients to heal quickly and regain full mobility in just a few weeks.  I apply my skills to a variety of medical conditions, such as ovarian cysts removal and uterine bleeding concerns.  I have also developed a growing practice in transgender care, assisting my patients achieve their true gender identity.

How I thrive

I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of total health and try to live it in my life every day. My family life is my major priority. I enjoy family outings to Dodger games, museums, and local festivities. I stay active by hiking, camping, and riding bikes with the kids.
