About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am a native Southern Californian who grew up two hours northeast of San Diego. I feel very fortunate to be a part of the Kaiser Permanente family.

Biography

I graduated from medical school at the University of California, San Francisco. While I enjoyed the Bay Area, Southern California is home. I moved back here to complete my orthopedic surgery residency, followed by an orthopedic foot and ankle surgery fellowship. I have lived in San Diego since 2007, and can't imagine living anywhere else.

About my practice

In addition to general orthopedic surgery and trauma surgery, I have a particular interest in total ankle replacement, ankle arthroscopy, cartilage injuries in the ankle, and ankle ligament reconstruction.

How I thrive

I believe that balance helps me not only in my personal life but also in providing better care as a physician. I enjoy scuba diving, cycling, and spending time with my family.
