About Me

Hello! Welcome to my Web page.

Biography

I received my undergraduate degree in molecular and cellular biology from UC Berkeley. I earned my medical degree from USC and subsequently completed a UCLA internal medicine residency program. I then completed a subspecialty fellowship in nephrology at Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. I am board-certified in both internal medicine and nephrology.

About my practice

I specialize in kidney diseases, and in the non-surgical disorders of the kidney. I care for members with end-stage kidney failure and consult with members who have chronic kidney disease—both in the hospital as well as in the outpatient setting.

How I thrive

I believe leading a balanced life requires the engagement of good physical and mental health. I encourage regular exercise, healthy dietary behavior, routine social engagement, and the pursuit of hobbies outside of work. During my spare time, I go deep-sea fishing, play tennis, swim, and spend time with family and friends.
