About Me

Hello and welcome to my Web page. I’m so happy to have this opportunity to tell you a little about myself.

Biography

I was born in Chicago but moved to California at age 12. I’m the middle of three sisters and remain very close to all my family. I always wanted to work in some way with children, and spent most of my teenage and college years working in preschool and elementary school settings. I also loved the sciences in college, and the combination of those two interests led me to medical school to become a pediatrician. I went to medical school at George Washington University in Washington, DC—it was an amazing place to live for four years, but I quickly made it home to the warmth of California and my family. My residency was with Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles. I’m thrilled to work in Orange County, close to my family. I have two kids of my own now, and love raising them with their aunts, cousins, and grandparents so nearby.

About my practice

It’s my pleasure and privilege to take care of your children. My greatest joy is watching them grow and enjoy life. I love to work with parents by providing education, answering questions, and working with you as a team to keep your children healthy. Unfortunately, children do become ill, and it’s my goal to provide high-quality care for them when they are not feeling well.

How I thrive

I stay balanced by spending time with my family. My kids keep me busy with all their activities and homework. We love to spend time together riding bikes, doing crafts, and seeing movies. We very often have TV-free weeks, and our favorite evening together is a board game and picnic dinner on the floor. I also try to have occasional adult nights out for a movie and socializing.
