About Me

Thank you for taking the time to read through my information. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and our members.

Biography

I grew up in sunny San Diego and shared some wonderful memories with my three siblings and parents. I became fascinated with the practice of medicine because it allows me to make a difference no only in an individual’s life but in the entire community as well. I enjoy the scientific and humanistic aspects of medicine and the intellectual challenges it poses. Every one of my patients has his or her wonderful story, and I love hearing them.

About my practice

I see the practice of medicine as a partnership between the physician and the person being treated. It gives me tremendous satisfaction to see people actively involved in their health, and Kaiser Permanente is a very good health care environment in which to do this. I am here to help my patients to diagnose medical problems should they arise and help them navigate through the many different treatment options that are available. I think it is important to engage people in an open discussion about their individual preferences and help tailor their medical care accordingly. I am also an advocate of healthy living and preventive care. As Benjamin Franklin once said, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”

How I thrive

I fully believe in the concept of balance and moderation in life. My family is vitally important to me, and I cherish each moment I spend with them. I enjoy playing tennis, beach volleyball, and jogging several times a week. My wife and I really enjoy hiking and exploring interesting restaurants with friends. We are always looking for great restaurant recommendations.
