About Me

I grew up in Boulder and was happy to come back in 2002 after finishing my medical training in Madison, Wisconsin. One of the best things about practicing in Boulder is that our patients really engage in their care and want to learn and be part of the decision-making that will impact their health. I really like having that partnership with patients.

About my practice

I practice the full scope of internal medicine and care for patients throughout their adult life. Because of great need for geriatric care, my practice is currently focused on people 55 and older. I have over the years developed a lot of experience with sports medicine, joint injections and dermatology. For my patients, I function as a resource, an advocate, a guide and a cheerleader. I work part-time in clinic in addition to functioning as one of our clinic chiefs and doing the internal medicine physician recruiting for Kaiser Permanente in Colorado.

How I thrive

In addition to spending time with my kids and husband, I recharge in my garden and on my mountain bike. I frequently see one of my patients when out on a run in Boulder and it is always fun to see them thriving. It makes me feel like it is a small town after all!
