About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page.

Biography

A native Californian, I completed my undergraduate studies at UCLA, and my medical studies at UC San Diego. I did my residency in emergency medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago.

About my practice

I joined the emergency medicine team at Kaiser’s Baldwin Park Medical Center in 2003. We are a young, energetic group that works collaboratively with other subspecialties to provide excellent care for members when they come to the emergency department.

How I thrive

I am passionate about my work, but believe life balance is key to wellness. I am a loving husband and proud father of four, and spend as much time with my family as I can. I love to watch my kids play soccer. We are avid UCLA football and basketball fans, and attend as many games as possible. I try to eat well, and believe in taking anti-oxidants such as coenzyme Q and alpha-lipoic acid. I avoid tropical oils and minimize my saturated fat intake. To stay fit and keep my weight down, I work out on the treadmill. I try not to allow myself to get upset or frustrated with the typical stresses that come with working in the emergency room, and helping my wife raise our four children.
