Medicine is my second career. After completing my undergraduate training, I obtained a Pharm.D. from the University of Michigan. I worked in various capacities as a pharmacist including as a retail pharmacist, a hospital pharmacist, and as a drug information specialist at a pharmaceutical company. While this work was rewarding, I was called back to higher education and graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2001. I moved to Colorado as soon as I could and completed my residency at the University of Colorado in 2005.
My practice is completely based around providing the best possible care for each patient. Through the Kaiser Permanente facilities and our affiliated hospitals, I have access to the most up-to-date technology. Through the electronic medical record, I can verify specific patient risk factors and communicate easily with specialists from all areas. Together, I can integrate this data into an anesthetic plan that minimizes risk and maximizes outcomes and satisfaction. Surgery can be stressful so I actively listen to each patient to develop an individualized anesthetic plan.
I love the Colorado weather and the outdoor activities the mountains provide. I particularly enjoy spending time with my family and friends through numerous Colorado adventures. I can often be found hiking, biking, and running around this great state.
