About Me

Thank you for visiting my Web page. I’m an anesthesiologist who has been in practice for more than 25 years—I‘ve been with Kaiser Permanente since 1988. As part of a group practice, I work closely with many physicians with one single goal—to provide the best and safest surgical experience for our members.

After finishing medical school in India, I came to the United States to further my career in the practice of advanced medicine. I received some of the best training in general surgery and anesthesiology in New York hospitals. I then completed advanced training in pediatric anesthesia at the Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit. When I came to the West Coast to practice anesthesiology, my first encounter with Kaiser Permanente was when I chose them for my own health care.

About my practice

I joined Kaiser Permanente part-time in 1988 and soon fell in love with the team approach to health care. I’m now proud to be a permanent member of a group of professionals that strive every day to bring our members high-quality compassionate care.

How I thrive

Gardening relaxes me, walking and exercise keep me fit, and I enjoy traveling to broaden my horizons. With more time on hands, I hope to be traveling on more medical missions to care for the underserved in the rest of the world. I just returned from Argentina after serving with a group of physicians, nurses, and other volunteers providing free medical and surgical care to the most needy and underserved.
