About Me

I was born and raised in southern California and moved to Georgia during the summer of 1996. I attended the UCLA School of Medicine and trained in pediatrics at Kaiser Permanente in southern California. I met my husband, a native Georgian, after moving to Georgia, and we have been blessed with two healthy sons.

About my practice

I chose to practice medicine because I have always been fascinated by the human body. I feel it is a privilege to have parents entrust their children’s care to me. My practice of medicine does not just entail giving a prescription to a patient and telling them to take it to get better. Rather, I always strive to help my patients and their families understand what their illness is and what they can do to get healthy. I am honored when a parent asks me if I can be their child's primary care physician. It makes me feel that I must have made them feel comfortable in the way I provided care to their children, and for me, that is my ultimate goal as a pediatrician.

How I thrive

I emphasize to our members and their families the importance of an active lifestyle. Being a native “California girl,” I have always enjoyed the outdoors. I enjoy spending time with my family, playing tennis, rollerblading, biking, jogging and reading.
