About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I became a physician for Kaiser Permanente in San Diego in 2016, after spending three years in Minnesota. My young family and I are ecstatic to be back in San Diego.

Biography

I am an Ohio native who grew up in Arizona; I’ve spent most of my adulthood in San Diego. I received my undergraduate degree at UC San Diego and continued there for medical school and my internal medicine residency. Following that, I pursued training in hospice and palliative care at San Diego Hospice as well as fellowship training in hematology and oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

About my practice

My practice consists of care for hematology and medical oncology. I am particularly interested in gastrointestinal cancer, blood cancers, and management of pain and symptoms related to cancer.

How I thrive

I thrive by gardening, exercising with my energetic Australian Shepherd, and keeping up with my young son.
