I chose to practice medicine at a young age and my desire to serve in rural, underserved areas pushed me to seek training. I have practiced rural, Emergency Medicine, and primary care in many settings since the late 1970s and continue to enjoy the ever-changing experience.
I am an urgent care clinician, supporting our members with immediate needs. At this point in my career I am committed to this supportive role rather than having my own panel of patients. I like being a Kaiser Permanente provider because of our flexibility and focus on patient-centered medicine.
I enjoy water sports, travel, camping, woodworking and spending time with my children and grandchildren.
