About Me

Welcome!

Biography

I was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and was there until graduating high school. I moved away for college to Washington, D.C. where I attended Georgetown University. While at Georgetown, I studied government and health policy while doing my premed course work. I had always thought about going into healthcare as my father was a physician, but I wanted to have a well-rounded experience at college and learn new topics. I moved to NYC after graduating college and started working in medical research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. My experience with my father and my research at the cancer center are what inspired and motivated me to become a physician.

About my practice

I chose pediatrics my fourth year of medical school. There was a ton of interesting medicine in all fields that I enjoyed, but I discovered working with kids would make every day different and enjoyable. Even when kids are sick they always find a way to be happy and cheerful. They inspire me!

How I thrive

I know exercise is important for my health, both physically and mentally, and it can also be a lot of fun. I enjoy running along the beach, hiking, and have started paddle boarding. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my dog! My little dog brings my husband and me so much joy and she loves to exercise, too!
