About Me

I grew up in upstate New York and have lived in Colorado for more than 15 years. Our state is so beautiful and I love the kindness and openness of Coloradans. When I was a teenager, I was in a serious accident and received care from a really incredible, compassionate physician during my recovery. This experience greatly influenced my decision to practice medicine. When I am not working, I love to move! My husband and I recently climbed Mount Rainier in Washington state. I am honored to be recognized as a 5280 Magazine Top Doctor in 2022 and was also honored there in 2020.

About my practice

I love taking care of patients, working with our fantastic nursing team, and performing skin cancer surgery and reconstruction. My patients are referred to me by other providers, and I perform Mohs surgery as well as consultations for complex skin cancers requiring multidisciplinary care. I want my patients to feel good about the care our team provides. My goal is for you to understand the "whys," the "hows" and the "what ifs" that pertain to your care. I feel fortunate to practice medicine and I learn a lot from my patients each day.

How I thrive

When I am not working, I love spending time with my husband, our 2 daughters, and our 2 large mountain dogs Milo and Murphy in the beautiful Colorado mountains. We are an active family and enjoy running, mountaineering, skiing, CrossFit and yoga. When we are not running around, I love to cook great food for my family and friends.
