I am a general endocrinologist and therefore see members for a wide variety of endocrine disorders including thyroid disease, calcium disorders, pituitary disorders, adrenal disorders, and diabetes, and I also treat pregnant members with endocrine disorders. I am also interested in diabetes and its risk factors in South Asians and have done research in this area.
I grew up in Southern California but went to the East Coast and to San Francisco for my education and training, subsequently returning to the Los Angeles area in 2015. I chose to go into the medical field since I always enjoyed science and caring for people, and medicine allows you to do both. I practiced endocrinology at UCLA Health in Torrance before joining Kaiser Permanente. Besides clinical care, I also greatly enjoy medical education.
We have a multidisciplinary team that includes nurses, medical assistants, diabetes nurses, and nurse practitioners. We all work together to provide high-quality for members.
I live well by spending time with family and friends, traveling, dancing, and trying new cuisines.
