About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I’m very glad to have this opportunity to introduce myself. I look forward to working with you to care for your health and giving you the best service I can. Let's work as partners to make your life healthier.

Biography

I was born in Harbin, China, where I finished college and medical school training. I then went to Europe for part of my PhD training, as well as special training in genetics. In 1991, I came to Ohio to become a faculty member of the Dermatology Department at the University of Cincinnati. I also trained in general pediatrics and clinical genetics at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2002 and have enjoyed being a general pediatrician and clinical geneticist here. I am the only pediatrician at Fontana Medical Center to have a clinic specifically for children who are overweight. I try to provide care for the entire family by giving guidance for a healthy lifestyle, taking care of medical problems, and offering support in times of stress.

About my practice

My practice includes general pediatrics, hospital inpatient care, and newborn nursery and neonatal intensive care, with interests in care for overweight children, and children with genetic conditions and special needs.

How I thrive

For me, the secret to living a healthy life is as simple as ABCDEFG—stay Active, stay Balanced, stay Cheerful, Drive safely, Eat healthy, Finish your work every day, and be Gracious.
