About Me

I am a Colorado native excited to have moved back to the Denver area after my residency training. After several years away for college and medical training, my wife and I are back in Colorado for the long haul. I’ve loved the opportunity to care for patients with a goal of decreasing pain and improving function. I believe in the mission and integration of the Kaiser Permanente system. Kaiser Permanente is leading innovation with integrated networks, accessible medical records, and teamwork at every level of the care experience.

About my practice

As a physiatrist (or physical medicine and rehabilitation physician) and pain medicine specialist, I evaluate and manage a variety of spine and musculoskeletal complaints. I think medicine is best delivered when the patient and physician are working as a team to create a treatment strategy with the support of the system around them. Spending time ensuring my patients understand their injury or disease is a key part of my job. I see patients across the age spectrum with many types of complaints. Many problems may be treated with therapy, exercise, medications and procedures. Being board certified in pain medicine allows me to perform epidural injections, nerve blocks, joint injections, and other procedures for many of these complaints.

How I thrive

I love trail running and skiing. I am an ultramarathon runner with a love for endurance sports and outdoor events.
