About Me

I was born and raised in Gallup, New Mexico. My husband and I met in New Mexico in the hospital setting and decided to travel with our jobs. We ended up traveling to Denver and decided to call this home. We now have two kids and enjoy mountain biking, road biking, hiking, skiing, and traveling.

I have been an RN for over 10 years, with most of that spent in pediatric level one trauma hospitals, with my recent experience being at Children's Hospital Colorado. I decided to become a nurse practitioner to better care and serve the families of our great community. I have always had a place in my heart for kiddo's and absolutely enjoy helping them get through the difficult experiences that orthopedics can have.

About my practice

I am proud to work for Kaiser Permanente in the Orthopedic Department. I decided to specialize in orthopedics after working in the ED at Children's. I enjoy taking care of kids with acute fractures as well as helping teens diagnosed with scoliosis. I enjoy taking care of infants diagnosed with hip dysplasia and helping the families get thru the treatment process. From congenital ailments to buckle fractures, we see it all. I have a strong partnership with Dr. Booker, our Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon. We have a top-notch team and enjoy seeing the smiling faces of our patients. I come to work each day and meet my patients and families right where they are. We are in this together.

How I thrive

I enjoy getting outside and moving. I absolutely love tackling the front range on my mountain bike and taking the long descents on my road bike. My kids bring me joy and laughter each day. I love watching them grow. I have spent many hours volunteering in our community, typically helping less-fortunate children. I am also learning to play the mandolin.
