About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am glad to have this opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. Should you unfortunately require emergency care, I thank you for trusting your well-being to me.

Biography

I grew up in Northern California and moved to the East Coast in the 1990s to attend New York Medical College. I then returned to California to complete my residency at UCLA. I’m double board certified in emergency medicine and internal medicine. I stayed with UCLA for 5 years and eventually moved to Orange County in the early 2000s. I worked in an emergency room in Newport Beach for 12 years and then joined Kaiser Permanente in 2016. Kaiser Permanente's team approach to medicine attracted me for years.

About my practice

As well as caring for members in the ER, I also enjoy evolving Healthcare Clinical Information Systems. I designed the electronic health record system for the ER at my last hospital, transforming our system from paper to digital. Now I’m Kaiser Permanente’s lead for Orange County’s emergency care electronic health record. I specialize in clinical content, decision support, and user experience. I enjoy the opportunity to promote Kaiser Permanente’s philosophy of care by evolving our state-of-the-art electronic system.

How I thrive

To maintain life balance, I enjoy soccer, biking, going to beaches, and spending time with my family.
