The first six years of my life were spent on the tropical island of Puerto Rico. My parents' studies took us to the mainland United States, where we lived in Philadelphia and Madison, Wisconsin, before returning to Puerto Rico. My own studies took me between the states and my island as well. I fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and settled in Oregon. My husband talked me into buying some property, which keeps us busy. I have a son and a daughter. I enjoy cooking, yoga, the outdoors, and music. My mother says I told her I wanted to be a doctor from an early age, and I believe her because it's what I wanted to do for as long as I can remember as well.
Everyone is unique and as such deserves a unique care plan. In this respect, I see value not only in conventional but in non-traditional modes of care. My goal is to become acquainted with my patients' lives and to see how I can be a part of their success in achieving wellness and balance. It is only together as a health-care team that we can grow, learn, and create goals to achieve health, happiness, and longevity. My passion is to inspire people to find their drive to change.
I enjoy being active, whether through regular exercise, yoga, or yard work. I try to incorporate meditation into my life on a regular basis. I enjoy reading, traveling, and any excuse to cook.
