About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page. I am happy to introduce myself and tell you about my practice.

Biography

As an Armenian immigrant growing up in Los Angeles, I owe much to the love and support of my mother, who helped me overcome many of life's obstacles. I was constantly immersed in the heritage and culture of Los Angeles' large Armenian community.

About my practice

I am a hospitalist, trained in internal medicine and practicing exclusively in the hospital setting at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. Here I care for acutely ill patients when they are admitted to the hospital. I also directly teach and supervise medical residents as they admit patients to the hospital. In my teaching, I encourage the delivery of exceptional care to each and every patient.

How I thrive

I was raised to cherish and value family, so life outside of work is all about my wife and children. I am married to a great physician who skillfully balances her medical practice with caring for our two beautiful children. As a family, we enjoy discovering new foods, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and seeing great shows. In order to stay fit, I ride my bike or exercise on my treadmill.
